Todd Blackledge, a seven year veteran of the National Football League, joined ABC Sports in 1994 as an expert analyst for college football. In 1996, he was moved into the studio alongside of John Saunders to provide analysis during ABC's halftime and post-game shows.

In addition to his Saturday afternoon studio duties, Blackledge also serves as a color analyst in the booth for ESPN's Thursday night college football package.

A former quarterback in the NFL, Blackledge played for the Kansas City Chiefs from 1983-88 and with the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1988-90.

Prior to joining ABC, Blackledge worked as a college football analyst for the Big East Television Network and for ESPN. He has also served as the analyst for the Indianapolis Colts preseason games (1993-96) and the Philadelphia Eagles (1997-present).

Blackledge was an academic All-American and earned Phi Beta Kappa status as a junior at Penn State in addition to being the team's starting quarterback for three seasons. He guided the Nittany Lions to a 31-5 record and three New Year's Day Bowel victories including the 1983 Sugar Bowl in which Penn State beat Georgia and captured the National Championship.

In the Spring of 1997, Blackledge was elected to the Academic All-American Hall of Fame, with Penn State football coach Joe Paterno serving as his presenter.

Todd and his wife, Cherie, have two sons, Harrison, born May 28, 1995, and Quinn, born May 12, 1997. The Blackledges reside in Canton, Ohio.
